Mirror had the thinnest sides and they are too long so that you have to bend them a bit which causes them to break and so you don't have a mirror that's why I bought this particular bird bath, the other issue is that it should be a bit wider I would say it's good for the size of the parrot, not for the cockatiel

The picture is deceptive, the bird in the picture looks like a Caique parrot and it shows a bird standing in a birdbath. and with lots of space. I bought the bird bath thinking it would fit my caique, after receiving it it was a lot smaller. This bird bath is definitely too small for a caique. Apart from the size, the mirror does not stay and the plates with screws are too small, it went through the wire, just can't attach it to the cage. I will not recommend this bird bath if you are buying it

We hung the bird bath on the door and our little friends didn't use the bath at all, and boy was that a great purchase. The tub hangs inside the cage so you can move around easily. You also don't have to worry about fitting the tub around the cage door as it will work in any cage. The main benefit is that they love looking in the mirrors literally dragging them into the bathtub and occasionally tweeting to each other for a chance to bathe.
