This sharpener is a disappointment in the Industrial and Scientific category.While it does have a good grip the lack of instructions and difficulty in achieving smooth edges make it a poor investment for anyone seeking precision..

Poor quality hand tools

for $8.99 I'll keep it but it's very cheap. I couldn't get my chisel to sit straight in the channels to position the blade properly. Also, the thread adjustment knob has fallen off and is very difficult to turn on the threaded rod in some places. I spent 15-20 minutes cleaning and re-oiling to try and smooth things out a bit. It's a little better, but remember it's far from an accurate tool. 2 stars can be generous
