A good product, but having its own defects.

I rushed out and purchased 8 gigabytes of memory. In contrast to what some evaluations have suggested, doing so is not particularly challenging. Combining these four disks into a raid 5 is simple. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the raid, but the process of writing data to disks is very slow. Despite the fact that across the network and even via USB Got pros: Automatic installation that works well, configuration options that are easy to understand, a comprehensive collection of…

The device is ideal in terms of price-performance-quality ratio, I considered and tried various NASs, Synology is unreasonably expensive with the same functionality, the rest are not so functional, self-assembly IMHO is cumbersome and dancing with a tambourine with the selection of iron, cooling, and then with compatibility, so that everything worked like clockwork, you have to try, well, it’s a pain if it’s Chrenology with various AO and software compatibility, I understand this and could…

Pros
  • All! Worth the money with some BUT! It is MANDATORY to expand the RAM, but it does not make sense with original dice, go to the laptop commission and test so dimm 1.35 V dice, every second one works fine, as a result we have 2x4 GB for 3,000, against 2 x 4 GB of original ones for 18,000! If you do not use virtualization or a container, then 4 GB is enough, someone set it to 16 - it starts up. I put 8 (2x4) with enough head! Full convenience and you VPN when working from home with a tunnel to the office and vice versa, photo backups from the phones of all family members, file libraries for the whole family from any device (Mom decides to look at old photos on a tablet - no problem), media capabilities and so on it’s clear, ISCSI is generally a fairy tale, when you take a laptop, and there is not enough memory, it’s better than just a network drive, PXE would still be screwed on and it’s generally wonderful, and 2 gigabit ports in balance mode (because a switch with aggregation is a little expensive) generally work amazingly , you can watch directly on monitoring. The site is a business card with hosting on it - yes, please, a personal page for e-books, so that you can enter from readers - please (just haven’t done it yet, you need to study it), but theoretically this is a regular site.
Cons
  • There are drawbacks to the fact that some application packages with new firmware can be removed, such as Transmission was removed, but everything is solved by manually installing and configuring the configuration file of each program, even without using the terminal.

I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

Make sure to increase RAM without raising the price! Its benefits With the correct configurations, multifunctional network storage allows you to build your own Internet cloud for easy access to crucial information! Light, discrete, and quiet. has certain drawbacks The device has two memory slots, which is excellent news since you can use two brackets from a laptop to install in place of the one that is; it's fairly simple to comprehend. However, the basic assembly only has 1GB of RAM, which is…

I went out and got 8 GB of RAM right away. Contrary to what you may have read, replacing it is actually quite simple. Raid 5 can be created using just 4 disks. Whether or whether the slowness of disk writing is due to the raid configuration is a mystery to me. Yet, over the internet and even by USB There are benefits: The software is easy to set up automatically, has straightforward configuration options, a respectable suite of tools (some of which are actually useful), runs smoothly with no…

Huge possibilities for home use. Fans of video, audio and photo tech are just a bomb. For safe and secure storage of everything. Access to data from anywhere in the world where there is internet of course))
