We needed a GFI switch for our summer kitchen.

We needed a GFI hydraulic breaker for an outdoor kitchen and I was surprised that it can be hard to find for Square D load centers. This supplier stocked them and shipped promptly. The switch has worked great since it was installed.

Product shipped in old packaging

These GFI circuit breakers worked perfectly. The only problem I had was that the photo shown online is not the package I received. The packaging was worn with ordinary cardboard. The documentation in it is from 1995. My only concern is that there may have been improvements or improvements to these breakers in the last 20 years.

Received on time. When I put it

Received on time. When I put this switch under load (working with a saw), it immediately burst. I replaced it with a circuit breaker with the same amperage but not GFI and was able to start the saw without flipping the switch. I know it's not a GFI issue that caused the original circuit breaker to trip, so I suspect the problem is that it can't handle the load.

Pros
  • Circuit Breaker
Cons
  • Drill Pack
