Lining in L fits great, but outer pants are too small. For XL, the shorts are the right size, but the compression shorts are too loose to be useless. There is not much "support" system.

I bought these for my 13 year old grandson after he complained about chafing in his swim trunks. I thought the compression pads would protect his inner thighs. It didn't help prevent chafing at all. He wore them once and felt as uncomfortable as he would in regular swimming trunks. However, they looked good!

After suits with mesh lining and irritation from prolonged wear and discomfort. I bought this suit with a lining and found it very comfortable and good value as these swimsuits are over $50 in most places. The only downside is that it takes a little longer to dry due to the lining, but it's worth it. I would recommend this suit.

Very comfortable inside and out. I bought two of these from two different companies and they were higher quality and had better front and back pockets. In fact, I wore them every day of our vacation and for the first time in a long time I didn't have any rashes. They dry very quickly so you can swim in them and then carry them on. I wish they were a little longer on the leg but overall I really liked them.

I changed your recommended size to XL and what was sent was small, your original recommendation, and was darn small. To be honest I'm sick of this auto pick crap with computers and recommendations when in my memory I've never ordered clothes so why would you even recommend. These are honestly the best swim trunks I've ever had (and I've got a few more years)! I bought 4 swimsuits before vacationing in Cancun and they became my choice. Do you know that a traditional swimsuit fits snugly around your manly parts and often compresses or becomes uncomfortable over time? This is the perfect solution. The short lining is SUPER comfortable. I could stay in them all day. My waist is 34-35 inches and the plus size fits me. Maybe a bit big but dressing is not a problem.
