We (GF and I) use it for hanging. . . other things . . . and it has never let us down. Pulls between 200# and 400# loads with little torsion and rebound and no problems at all.

Well thought-out and durable device. I set this up for a 70 lb bag. The swivel works well and is very quiet. I replaced the lag bolts with longer ones, but that was due to my setup, not the included hardware.

My bag is hanging in the basement with a low ceiling, so there is only one hanger and chains on the bag. I used to have a hanger that didn't rotate. A swivel mechanism changed everything. It is also very strong and sturdy.

I had one with a 100# heavy bag and used it 1-2 times a week for 30-45 minutes each. Nothing crazy. The screw/pivot popped out - the rest of the mount is still firmly attached to my ceiling. There seems to be a serious problem with the hook part. Too bad - and I can't contact anyone for a replacement. Definitely not worth the money. Stay away.

We received this for the use described and had no problems. My boys beat the daylight out of this heavy bag and the brace showed no signs of wear. It was easy to install and given the weight it would support we attached it to a sturdy beam. I was concerned that the swing bag would put too much pressure on the mount parts, but it holds up well and shows no signs of stopping.

I used this item to hang a 100 pound bag in my garage. As you can see it's still there after almost 2 months of use. Make sure you find the joist before installation. This will make the difference between a good/bad setup. nut and bolt where he holds the punching bag. Broken. I heard a rumble as the bolts, nuts, and spindle bearings fell to the floor. I attached the bag to the main mount without the eyebolt, which is fine, but I felt it wouldn't hold the punching bag. A regular eyebolt that you screw into a joist would be better. It lasted about a week in the bag and fell apart. Definitely don't waste your money, I should have gone to the hardware store and saved a lot of money.

I liked the look and strength of the mount and when we received it (I had 4 of them) I was impressed with the density and the two sets of ball bearings. Except that one of the four I bought dangled and dangled for me so I decided to return it. Revain sent me replacements for all 4 and I'm glad they did as even the ones that initially felt tight (so tight they were a bit difficult to turn by hand) started falling apart!
