Best water pump/sewer lock pliers I have ever used

This is a quick release pliers made by NWS in Germany. I hate to admit it, but I like them better than my KNIPEX Cobra pliers, the quick adjustment makes them much more convenient in tight spaces, just push them together and the button works. The button on mine was silver instead of red as shown in the photo.

Pros
  • Pliers
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

The clip under the quick adjustment button is broken. When I tried using it on a 2" pipe and applied pressure to rotate the pipe, they broke easily. They are skinny, can't believe Klein would even call them trash. They still pinch and hold things until they break.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Discontinued model

When these pliers came out I had to try them and they work great with fittings! It struck me that these pliers are made in Germany, which is also where the legendary Knipex Cobra pliers are made. I bought them instead of Knipex because I would rather give my money to an…

Pros
  • Hand and power tools
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people
