I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for amount of pressure it takes to open the umbrella/locking it in place. I'm always cautious not to pinch my finger. Other than that this is easily my favorite modifier (and I have a few). This give me the BEST LIGHT for my work. Mine HAS THE BOWENS MOUNT. I'll attach a few images of it in use with my AD600, Behind The Scenes (BTS) set up, and a size comparison to a traditional 120cm octobox. Make sure you have enough space to set up. This modifier is huge!

Big beautiful lighting. It's a beast.now one thing I will say I struggled with was trying to get it open. It seemed like no matter how how hard and far I pushed in the umbrella mechanism, it wouldn't catch. Then I noticed the center rod could be screwed (or unscrewed rather). A couple of turns to unscrew it, pressed the umbrella mechanism down, and it locked into place. Just an FYI if some of you get it and had the same issue I was having.

Carrying case stitching and zipper came apart right out of unboxing! Big Really big Diffuser though. Carrying case feels like the cheapest they could make.

Okay y’all, I’m torn with my rating lol sooo one part of me says give it 5 stars because it’s super durable. But the other side says give it 3 for the company not simply explaining how to put it together. To save you time and muscle energy. If it’s not catching in the middle, loosen the pole in the middle a little and when you push down, TRY NOT TO HOLD DOWN THE RELEASE BUTTON TOO lol I didn’t realize that it was getting caught up on my hand when pressing it down and that was preventing it from

Borderline impossible to use. As a female photog, I find it beyond difficult to set this up. I have to take my 15 year old son (pretty strong athlete) with me on shoots to open it and he struggled to open and close it. Such a nightmare. I wish I had used it more while I could return it. Sadly, almost 6 months later and I just want to throw it away. I had such high hopes.

The ease of setting this up and taking it down alone makes it worthwhile, AND it's cheaper than the Godox or Apurture, even though you don't get some of the extras of those other ones, but they're at least twice as expensive.

The mechanism for holding the umbrella open does not work, softbox snaps closed constantly. The only thing holding tension is a tiny divet in the center shaft which easily slips. Had to return it before even trying it once because it would not stay open. Too bad.

It stated in description and title " Bowens Speedring". Good! HOWEVER it doesnt FIT BOWENS. Bad quality control

I like portability of this product. Unfortunately after using for only a few times, the mechanism that keeps it open just broke down. This part of the product is very poor made, so I won’t recommend it to anyone that does professional photography.Mario

Only 4 star cuz it's a little big to fit threw the door so have to let it down to go out.But overall very pleased with the soft light it produces
