Superb clamp of very high quality

The supplier finally knows how to properly size these clamps, their 4" and 4 5/8" flange. Perfect fit, other manufacturers measure from the outside what is wrong. Very strong and hard. Replaced clamps with Volvo Diesel TAMD72 for 1/3 Volvo OE price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in white

3 " is perfect for lly duramax downpipe to front exhaust

3" is what you need for lly duramax downpipe in front of your secondary exhaust (I have a full 4" MBRP system and front clamp does not included), my original broke and this ticon is well made and works great

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • nothing

Not bad, but nothing special.

I was a little annoyed at the lack of BEEF on these. I also ordered 2 very cheap complete sets of Vband (flanges and clamps) and the clamps were the same quality but with a screw 2 times larger than theirs. I probably expected more from a well-known company like Ticon. I'm sure they will work great but I don't understand why the cheaper clamps have more bulk.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • there are doubts

Well built but not enough space.

Nice and bulky v-clamp with solid construction, but the actual v-clamp is so narrow that you cannot use it unless you have very thin flanges. I ended up putting it in a vise and actually expanding the bottom to see if that worked. Powerstroke folks looking at this, I wouldn't buy it unless you want a little tweaking lol.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Weight

Great quality, difficult part to assemble

This is the perfect replacement turbo fork for my 2002 7.3 PowerStroke engine. If something doesn't line up perfectly, it's a real installation bear, but that's Ford's design problem, not that clamp. The clamp is well made and I expect it to get the job done until my truck ends up in a junkyard. Do yourself a favor and find an installer.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Damaged
