Efficient Cleaning Solution: Quickie Poly Fiber 🧹 Whisk Broom for Both Indoor and Outdoor Surfaces Review

What a wonderful tool around the house. I have found myself using it all the time to remove/clean pet hair---crumbs---dust etc. It is durable and very easy (light) to use. What I particularly like is that the bristles don't fall out or splinter, unlike broom/broom beaters (I can't think of a name for it). Oh!

This is Revain's first negative product review. I bought the same brush in 2013 and it was great, but now the manufacturer has reduced the number of bristles in their broom and this brush doesn't do the same job as the previous one. It feels softer and doesn't work like it used to. If you need a hard broom, look elsewhere.

UPDATE (August 2013): Revain updated the listing so the picture now matches the product. The one that has arrived is the Quickie Manufacturing 404cq Poly Whisk Broom, listed at half price. It has a different handle shape and color (white plastic handle, blue plastic brush) than shown. (Note: I see another reviewer also commented that the product shipped did not match the picture.) POSITIVE: The product shipped is a functional plastic whisk.

Good quality whisk. I've had a pair for a few years and they've held up well with little to no wear. However, I prefer another broom that I also bought from Revain: Carlisle 3663400 Whisk Broom, Industrial Hand Broom, Chemical and Liquid Resistant Broom. The Carlisle is more expensive but I prefer it to the Quickie Poly Fiber Whisk Broom. If you want a whisk with slightly shorter bristles, the Quickie is a better choice as the Carlisle is a few inches longer.

Quality varies. Ordered a few from Revain here and the quality was fine except for the non-square end. Order other defective Midland Hardware products with significantly fewer bristles, uneven bristle spacing and an end cut that is not square. Called Quickie to send them the broken ones. It is explained that if they are not of the best quality because they are unsuitable for my application, they can either replace a quality product and leave the defective ones behind, or not worry about…
