Easy to replace with common tools.See your owner's manual for removal of non-functioning thermostat and replacement of new thermostat. Corrosion resistant stainless steel delivers increased service life. Self-cleaning design allows cooling system contaminants to flush through closing surfaces. Calibrated for proper cooling system temperature response.

Great thermostat replacement!

The product is exactly what I needed for my automotive needs... As MY tests showed, the Quicksilver replacement thermostat was easy to install and has worked flawlessly since. The high-quality construction ensures it will last for years and it`s very affordable. The only con is that the packaging could have been more informative, but that's a minor issue. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of a reliable, cost-effective thermostat replacement for their car's cooling…

Fits and works for Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

After a few uses it does what it's supposed to. Ideal for Mercury 25hp 2-stroke. The 1998 installation guide gave me what I needed and it works. Considering something like this new is useless as it should be a more durable part and only time will tell that part hence only 4 stars. As I believe it was an original part which I replaced if I get one 5-10 years later I will change it to 5 stars.
