Runs on 150 4-strokes.

2014 Mercury 150 Four Stroke. This is a replaceable filter that needs to be pulled out by the yellow handle inside the housing.

Exact replacement best in filter

The right option to replace the old one and this is not a filter fault that is difficult to replace considering the outboard manufacturer sunk it in the bottom of the engine.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • zero

Close but not exact.

This is a replacement fuel filter for my 150 150 4 stroke. The fuel line connects perfectly, no problems. However, this is too small and the lifting handle does not snap into place as firmly as on the original.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Weak

Hubby Very Happy, good for filters

Call it bad petrol or whatever but Hubby is tired of driving 40km in traffic for this filter - so glad he checked out Amazon. They had a lot in stock and I bought (4). Husband installed and was very pleased - same item at Nautical Store was a lot more plus a hassle. THANK YOU AMAZONE!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Modern

Perfect replacement for

I service my Mercury 150hp 4-stroke myself. 2016. This is a Mercury specified fuel filter. In most cases you will need *two* of these, at least in my case. One on the port side, one in the middle of the back, hidden under the net cover. Easy to replace. Good value for money. See replacement procedure for YT.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • The list is long.

A bear needs changing but the only way out

Quicksilver 879885Q Inline Fuel Filter is the last fuel filter located after the high pressure pump as shown in the attached photo. This filter is hidden under the motor's high voltage coil in the lower right corner of the motor; It is difficult to access but needs to be replaced if you want your engine to run efficiently. For the proper operation of the injectors and the engine itself, it is extremely important to change this filter every 60-80 hours of operation. Using a genuine Mercury part…
