It does its job, the 2009 Verado runs high and sows oil well past the thing's limits. Not useful on this Verado 150 HP model.

Quality was good as I thought, just doesn't work with my Verado outboard. Not the seller's fault. I have a Verado 200 hp. 2018 and it doesn't work for this engine.

The funnel fits onto the lower unit as instructed and I have fitted an elastic cord to secure it as instructed. There was very little dripping onto the back of the funnel and it was easy to wipe off. In the future I'll stick a small piece of tape or thin neoprene foam to the back of the plug hole, that should stop the dripping. The price is worth it to avoid the mess and overhaul.

I was really hoping this would work, but it causes more chaos than just draining the water. I used it on my Mercury Verado 300 and it doesn't fit flush. I tried putting tape under the drain plug and running it into the product but the oil was still coming out from under it. So you need to clean the bottom of the dispensing disk and the hopper. Could be a great product but a very poor fit. Save money on paper towels to clean up spills.

The funnel does not get close enough to the outlet drive to capture the oil after the steady flow stops and turns into a fast drip and then a slow drip. Have plenty of rags, for it is useless when a steady stream becomes a rapid drip. The oil flows out between the funnel and the PTO and quickly coats that side of the PTO. If you don't notice this and move the oil pan, YOU MUST REMOVE A MARKAS. Not only outside, but also in the driveway.
