My favorite brand of quilt line

Quilter's Rule is my favorite ruler for quilting: easy-to-see dimension lines and dimension lines on the back keep the ruler in place. No additional anti-slip devices are required. Finding them isn't as easy as it used to be, so grab them while you can!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative

Stays in place very well when cutting

I like this brand of quilting ruler because the black lines are actually ridges on the back of the ruler and help hold it in place. I also have 12x12. This small size was good as one of my Covid-19 projects was to use my leftovers in a pair of quilts. This little ruler makes it easy to line up on the go.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slight wrinkles

The best square ruler!

I haven't used it long but I know I will like it. The big line is in the way. I like the ribbed lines, the diagonal is really good for half square triangles - I got this when I was finishing a queen size quilt with lots of 4 inch half squares, it's a lot easier to use the small size and a lot better than the other 4 inch squares rulers. I have a kind of whorl along the seam line. This ruler captures the line and does not move. I've been using the larger version for at least 20 years and love…

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Big and bulky

This is my 3rd purchase from this line in over 20 years

This is my 3rd purchase from this line in over 20 years. After about 10 years, the ink wears out. I use this little ruler every day to line up the blocks and block pieces at each step, this is necessary for accurate assembly. I've tried several other brands and they all sit unused, lonely and unloved in my drawer. There are small handles on the back to prevent slipping - no risk of cutting your fingers and ruining the blocks from lack of control. A 45 degree line makes it easy to get perfect…

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Some minor issues
