I bought these to put in my parrot cage. I have two birds that seem to love these perches. I put a flat perch next to the food and water bowls, which is very good for the birds when they eat. Birds constantly sleep on perches in the form of tree branches. They are strong but not overweight. They also don't take up much space in the cage. Overall I am happy with this purchase and will most likely order another set.

Our bird broke his swing so we needed a new one. It was the best deal so we bought it. Yes, it's a good deal. However, the range is too large. I somehow smoothed it out so that it was narrower and taller, but the beads on it are very large and scared our bird. The bird refuses to sit on it. I would suggest a narrower swing with much smaller beads. We can put some other toys in his cage if he needs them, but he's so scared of those swings that we won't introduce any other toys until he calms…

Before purchasing this item I read reviews that some customers received their perches with mold. I compared these reviews to other good reviews and decided to take a chance as the reviews were cheaper (always let the odds be in my favour). Well when I received my item I wasn't surprised to find mold on the flat perch. It's definitely not dust, I've had mold issues at home so I'm used to spotting mold (it's greenish). I bought these for my lovebird which I am collecting today so have no experience with perches or anything like that. The flat is good and I really like the way it looks. The second is much thinner than in the picture. I can understand it in that it's obviously tree branches, and won't be exact, but they're so thin they go through the bars of the cage.
