Description of 🚗 Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Town And Country Rear Wiper Arm with Blade (2008-2015)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:Perfectly Replacement for 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. who reported that it doesn't fit have likely not carefully removed the original Dodge threaded washer from the wiper motor. This is in addition to the original nut that needs to be removed. It took me a while to figure it out but it's all good now. Replacement for:2008 - 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2008 - 2009 Chrysler Town & Country,Please read all description & size before ordering the product. Notice :Make sure all plastic/metal is removed from the wiper motor shaft or have to hacksaw off the metal ring from the old wiper!! (I used needle nosed pliers/use a mini hacksaw to remove the other pieces off cut off that bushing on wiper motor shaft。then fit greatly). SURFACE: Surface paint treatment, anti-aging. To prevent the wiper turn into white in insolation. MATERIAL: Arm: Use 100% PBT with 30% Pb, It makes the wiper more hard; Blade: ABSP Rubber, AA level

The wiper blade is undersized but the arm assembly is identical to OEM

The supplied wiper blade is the wrong size (a few inches too small). However, all I really needed was the wiper arm and this fits perfectly with the original arm on my 2010 Grand Caravan. I added the right length wiper blade and can keep Shorty in the car as a backup. Overall I am happy with the value of this product.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Almost never

Cheap alternative - IT WORKS!

I called the dealer and they charged over $100 for a replacement. Although this product seems a bit cheap, I paid a small price for it. I didn't want to invest a lot as I'm going to sell my van soon anyway. The instructions were very good and it was delayed (3 months so far). I could buy 6 or 7 of these from the dealer for the price of an OE hand/blade.

Good quality, other tools are needed.

Good quality. I've seen a lot of comments about the hole diameter. Everyone sees an ironed sleeve. This will hold the wiper arm firmly on the motor shaft. Then the mother stops it from moving. To remove it properly, you will need a windshield wiper puller. They sell cheap ones just for wipers. Or you can cut it off as someone else described. I'll just get the $15 traction and then the wipers. Much easier than a hacksaw.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • unreliable

Works perfectly. in wiper sets

I would give 4.5. but Revane won't let me in so is 4. Only caveat is the cap covering the nut doesn't snap tightly, but this easily secures with tape. The instructions are pretty useless, but it's an easy task. The important point is that you MUST remove the knurled metal sleeve (if present) on the motor shaft. Use a dremel, hacksaw, or nut cutter to cut through the bushing. The new lever is very tight, so just slide it halfway in and lower it all the way down with the nut on the old lever…

Works fine. The blade is approximately 1 1/2 inches shorter than the original. If the old blade is ok, simply replace it with a new one. If the new wiper arm has a smaller diameter than your shaft, you will need to remove the original aluminum insert. . This is done using a Dremel tool with a small cut-off wheel. If you're not comfortable cutting an old insert, pay someone who knows what they're doing to make that repair! If you've never used a Dremel tool, don't try to learn from this project.

The blade is shorter than the original.

My 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan had a different wiper motor screw than the product description. Everything seemed to work fine without cutting anything. But the blade was two inches shorter than on the machine. I removed the arm and blade by removing the nut. The blade came off the handle easily. I found a Bosch 16" blade at an auto parts store that almost exactly matches the old blade. Works flawlessly. Knives and levers may have been replaced earlier, but unlikely. I bought a used car with only…

Worked well after removing bushing on stem

Just received this replacement arm and had to do quite a bit of digging to find out how it worked. The hole that slides over the shaft is smaller than the original because the shaft in my car was fitted with a bulbous collar that fitted the original lever hole. Apparently there has been a design change and this collar needs to be removed for this new interchangeable arm to work. After reading the Dodge forums I found someone with the same problem who said they used a hacksaw or dremmel to cut…

but in general I am very satisfied with this purchase at the price of

The part arrived early and well packaged. Bought this part for 08 Town and Country. This is an almost exact match to the original part I removed, except for the plastic cover over the nut (on the motor shaft). This part appears to be too long and the corners touch the wiper arm when installed. It doesn't affect his work at all. Another thing I noticed is that the point where the lever attaches to the motor shaft is just plastic and not the OE metal thrust ring. Let's see how it holds up in the…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Ordered for a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. In short, this is not a direct OEM replacement. If you want to save some money and have the tools/features to make it work, go for it. But it takes a little work, and you'll end up with a wiper that's about 1-1/2 inches shorter than the stock wiper. For the folks who said they had to drill it to fit, it could be because of the tapered aluminum bushing that is cast into the OEM plastic mount that remains on the motor shaft when the wiper assembly is…
