This is a fairly expensive wine opener and I had high hopes for it considering the brand. However, this generally doesn't work well. The wine cork is currently stuck and cannot be pulled out. Rabbit Wings corkscrew is a strong and bulky corkscrew. It is made of a combination of plastic and metal and is well made. The corkscrew works quite well. I love Rabbit's other wine accessories including the large wine opener which has served me well for many years. But this one doesn't work! It barely sits on top of the bottle neck so you don't have leverage to pull the cork out. The corkscrew doesn't go far enough to grab the cork. If you push the holder further onto the bottle, all sides will break. I was able to completely disassemble one side and the rubber inside came out. Used twice. The first time worked great. You have to push on it to get the tip of the screw to the cork and this takes a little bit of pressure. But then it worked great.
