🧤 RaceQuip 350005 Fingered Driving Gloves Review

I have recently taken my car to high performance driving clubs. The first two times I drove my car (to Pocono Raceway) the weather conditions were completely different. The first time the weather started out cool in the morning but warmed up quickly towards midday. This made my hands sweat profusely. When I went the second time it rained the first half of the day. Bought these after borrowing a set from a friend. With his set I could use my touchscreen phone and it would work. I don't know if mine are new, but you can't use your phone with them. The rest is great and even in hot Florida your hands don't sweat.

Bought for my husband's birthday, he loves them. Lightweight and breathable. I received the medium and its measurement was 9 inches. Tips are perfect. He won his first race!

Haven't used them on the track yet but I've tried them with my Thrustmaster T500RS PS4 wheel and I love them. The palm/finger area (white side) is very grippy. The back (black side) feels light and breathable. My hands didn't get as sweaty as I expected as the gloves look like they keep my hands warm. Now I'm looking forward to the snowmelt so I can get them out on the track!

I use them for sim racing and they go great with my rubber wheel. I have had a pair for more than 3 years that have been used an average of 3-5 hours per week; Some of the stitching has already started to unravel, but the main reason I replaced them was the smell of hand sweat. I didn't consider any other pair after rediscovering these. They are very light and breathable on the back and offer a good grip on the rubber edge of the wheel after the leather palm has been broken in.

These gloves would have received 5 stars if the seam on the right thumb hadn't come undone within the first hour of use. Racequip didn't respond to my email asking for a replacement so my wife sewed it back. Very comfortable starter glove set but poor (nonexistent) customer service from Racequip due to a clearly defective seam.
