Just assembled and placed on the table. 5 stars for everything. This unit replaced 6 stackable plastic pieces and cleaned up the look of my entire desk. Assembly was easy, even for an old man with (sometimes) significant tremors. Looks a lot better than those old plastic blocks, takes up less space and I like the top shelf with 3 closed compartments. I had to exchange the first one because it had a broken piece of metal and sharp metal sticking out. The new one didn't break anywhere, but it broke trying to assemble it. The metal is cheap and bends too easily. Even after assembly nothing fits. It definitely looks ugly and I don't want it on my desktop. I'm only keeping it because it will be under my daughter's desk. I would not recommend this product.

Very functional but the screws connecting each tier to the top tray don't hold well so it's not very strong. Finev stays in place easily, but be careful when moving it, especially if there are things on it that add weight. Be sure to select below. This is my only complaint, but I needed it because I'm working from home at the moment. I can use strong glue on each screw to attach them, that should fix the problem.

As you can see, I bought folders and boxes cheaper. The plastic ones broke and the ones in the picture ended up having to be tied together to keep the trays from falling, but they fell anyway. These Rackarster letter baskets are attached with real screws that are easy to install (they even sent an extra!) and I know they will last for a LONG, LONG TIME! 5 STARS! (I wish I could buy extra shelves to make them taller!)

The device is perfect for what I wanted: good price, metal construction, ease of use. Everything fit together easily. Too bad some people didn't get their mounting screws; I have the lucky 13th screw. For those interested: you don't have to use all 3 shelves or attach a divider block. (You could use it elsewhere where it would be more convenient.) I was afraid it might have hanging edges or the build was "off", but none of those issues were needed. I'm glad I made the purchase.

This desk organizer is easy to put together, although some may have a slight learning curve to align the screw holes.
