🔪 USA-Made Rada Cutlery Paring Knife Set – 6 Knives with Stainless Steel Blades & Aluminum Handles Review

Have been using Rada knives for many years. They hold sharpening perfectly and are of all the necessary sizes and shapes. I would always compare them to more expensive knives. Everything I had in the kitchen, bakery and restaurant. EXCELLENT knives.

After the first wash with a mild soapy solution, the pins are so oxidized that they cannot even be touched, so fingers do not turn black. Oxidation of aluminum on my hands and everything those knives have touched. They look good, but the quality of the material is extremely low and potentially dangerous.

Unpacked in the dishwasher (very nice packaging, looks good) and the handles turn dark pewter. I tried wiping the paint which worked with mixed results but left black marks on my hand. I have no idea if this is oil and will eventually go away or what. The blades are thin and the tip of one is already curved. I like the variety of blades, but I wouldn't buy them again with a hard blade for expected regular use. upset.

I am very disappointed with this set of knives. I'll start with the positive. They're pretty sharp. Better than what I had but not too spicy. I feel the handles on the knives are too short and uncomfortable to cut. The worst thing about this set is that after a few washes the color of the handles turns my fingers black when cutting. I have been using Rada knives for years. I bought this set because it's the best value for money and gives me a set of great paring knives and one that's a little longer. They all have carbon stainless steel blades that are really sharp. Was in another house last week and needed a paring knife. They had an expensive set and it wasn't nearly as good as this one. Best knife for the money I have ever used and I have over 60 years experience cutting vegetables etc.

Never in my life have I heard my mum be as obsessed with cutlery as Rada. I received one of these knives as a gift many years ago and was so impressed that I decided to buy another one. Well I came across the ore at Revain, found all the sizes and types I need or need. As with any task, using the right tool makes the job a lot easier. These knives are razor sharp and get the job done in the kitchen quickly.
