My wife likes the carving knives best

I grow my own tomatoes and my wife is responsible for them. She really likes this knife because it easily cuts through these things. Of course, the tomato must be peeled before eating, and I <-.would like to know how many other people peel their tomatoes too.--

Great knife, just seems a little thin for a tomato knife.

I love this knife, I cut a lot of tomatoes at home for my daily lunch and it does its job much better than my previous knife. I don't think it's a big deal, but it just doesn't feel like a solid knife. Maybe it should be that easy, I don't know.

Very sharp, well balanced, made in USA

I love this RADA carving knife. It's not just for tomatoes, although it works great on them. I've used it to slice a variety of fruits, vegetables and meat, especially when I need thinner slicers. It's small, light and well balanced, everything I love about a good carving knife. The knife shows its quality and durability in look, feel and performance. This is an excellent high quality knife made in the USA so I recommend this RADA razor to all homes.

Well USA Cutlery RADA Serrated Tomato Slicer

Update: I use this for onions, tomatoes, sausage ribbons, lettuce and it speeds up with no effort. This is a very well made RADA serrated slicer knife made in the USA. It uses US high carbon steel. Although sharp and serrated, it is not as sharp as a filleting knife. The handle is a good solid piece of hardwood, polished smooth but still comfortable to grip. I like to cut fruit and veg with it. The 5 inch blade and 9 inch overall length makes this a smaller knife that I really like. smallerโ€ฆ

Another Rada winner! Made in the USA!

I was wondering if I really "neededโ€ a knife specifically designed for slicing tomatoes and the short answer is YES! This Rada Cutlery Anthem series tomato slicer not only effortlessly pricks and slices tomatoes without turning them into pulp, but also does an excellent job of slicing many other foods such as bread, slicing cucumbers with thin paper, slicing a sandwich in half , sliced onions, and the list goes on.
