The Escort Max 3 with the magnet system holds up pretty well. The bracket along with the weight of the radar detector makes my rearview mirror vibrate when I hit bumps. A little annoying.

Bought this kit (straight cable and bracket) for my old truck which I drive more and more and good cars stay in the garage. Although I have Blendmount installed in my car, I wanted an inexpensive solution to transporting the Escort Mac 360c between cars rather than buying another $600 detector. Having owned a blend mount for a few years I can definitely say it's a safer mount than this, but not by much. The disadvantage of the Blendmount is that it is rigid and cannot be adjusted in the field…
