Bad radiator Good for parts

Hoses arrived very late. When the radiator was installed and coolant added, the top started to leak worse than my used one

Pros
  • Good construction
Cons
  • Frequency

Great cooler.

High quality and perfect fit for my 2006 Honda Element. I don't know how they do it at this price but keep it up. Excellent purchase.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No

Worked on our 2003 Honda Element

Fits right where the old one left off. The only difference is that this one had holes for transmission oil cooling. Our Honda Element was manual and didn't have transmission fluid cooling lines, so we left the radiator ports open.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

The transmission line is cheap. Radiator hose a little smaller

In general, the radiator fits perfectly. Everything works. But one of my transmission lines was leaking and I had to fix it. With the old from the old cooler. Shemales seem to be very cheap. And the radiator hoses are slightly looser than the original.

Pros
  • Makes you confident
Cons
  • A few small things

A few questions.

Two things. Transmission ports are adapters. Obviously because this cooler is also used for other Honda models with different hose angles or transport widths. I was concerned about undertightening because I didn't have the very small wrench that would be required to apply enough back-up torque to the nut itself without damaging the fastener. The reservoir nut was either the wrong size or defective. I had to dig up the old one and use it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are problems

Caution with coolant pipes made of aluminum!

Everything was great with installation except the aluminum transmission cooler hose adapters require very careful tightening to tighten them into position (better not too tight, you can always tighten later if if necessary) before pushing on the hoses. Aluminum is very malleable and the flange on the swivel end of the tube is pretty flimsy if not tightened first. And the old brass ones had different threads so I couldn't use them on my 2002 CRV, or I would have used them. it fit perfectly and…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
