This worked for me! - Computer components

Loaded without problems! Modular cables really help with cable management and having them in sleeves is a huge plus. I use 3600 and NVIDIA 760. I don't overclock anything.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons

Well it took about 2 months. Let's look at the RAIDMax guarantee.

The power supply for my daughter's slot machine is broken. I took a 550w Corsair PSU from a cheap old Xeon CPU setup I had to rebuild for my daughter's computer. I ordered this power supply for a Xeon setup. Everything seemed fine. Then about a day ago my son pointed out that the Xeon installation would not turn on. I snapped at him. The USB was getting power as the LED keyboard was lit, but other than that the power was dead. I tested it and can't bring it back to life. Breaking things, I'll…

  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A decent power supply for the price.

I used to use Raidmax power supplies. Mostly in budget builds. For midrange builds, I always want at least a semi-modular power supply and at least a bronze rating. Has enough power for most good builds without problems. Don't expect this to be good for dual graphics card builds. Or use it for mass overclocking. Most of the time I get them because my stock of power supplies has run out.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Approximately

Semi Mod. Computers and accessories

easy to set up with couger mx331 case, love the modular idea so you don't have to use all the cables. I will update the review if anything changes.

Pros
  • special offer
Cons
  • automation not working

So far so good for the inside

I have used several Raidmax power supplies in the past. The old ones were very durable and easily lasted 4-5 years. Unfortunately I've burned 2 of these in the past few years. I hope this lasts longer than 1-2 years.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons

Can't deliver even close to 80% of rated power

After 2 months this unit can't even handle 380W. 400 W. Supposedly rated at 6350 watts, I hope it can put out at least 380 watts. The return to supplier window is over and raidmax's customer service is a joke.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Poor quality internal PSU

Replaced a Raidmax PSU with the same specs. This one is much lighter and smaller (no better than the PSU I pulled out of my $20 computer case). All wires are BLACK with no color coding. It's up and running because I needed the computer to get back to work.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some issues
