Works but putting the stand up is difficult. The side guides are unusable. Nothing fits. Despite the fact that I have a stand on the table, everything is a little different. Either the top isn't straight, or one leg sticks out more than the other. It's inexpensive, and with a little fiddling, I can get it to the point where putting my laptop on a stand to do some work no longer drives me crazy. If I had to do this over and over again, I would spend more money and be in a better position.

I ordered this product based on reviews. I wanted to use it as a sit and stand desk as I work from home full time. To change the height you need to press 6 buttons. It seems overkill, but if they worked I'd probably keep them. But no matter how many configurations I used each foot in, the tabletop was unstable and uneven. In no configuration is my laptop held horizontally for typing. I've been a Prime member for over a decade and this is the first item I've returned.

This product does the job well but required the use of a metal file to file down the protruding beads left over after welding. The mouse pad does not generate friction, so even if the corner shifts, the mouse will slip off immediately, so tighten it well. Various configurations allow for creativity, but it's quite noisy when moved. Overall I'm happy and have come to terms with the fact that it makes noise with a small movement, so I try not to move it too much.

CONS: No instructions, I looked at the photo to understand. To avoid breaking the legs when you push your foot into the groove, keep the legs together - turn the knob instead. This will give you a firmer base to press on. The trailing edge is the unsupported side - do not place support clips (small black plastic braces) there. The stand was easy to assemble but the clips slipped off fairly easily. I lost one within days of owning it. I find the legs to be easy to adjust but it takes a few adjustments/trials to get it right.
