Easy installation, stability and reliability

I am setting up a test station/lab, to learn more about programming and needed a 4 post rack to house a small server and other equipment. This rack ticks all the boxes: deep enough to hold an HP Proliant DL360 and high enough for everything else. It's actually slightly larger than I need, but I'm sure the extra space will be filled in soon enough. Installation took less than an hour but probably could have been quicker if I was in a hurry. There are plenty of nuts and bolts to hold everything…

Pros
  • Assembled dimensions: 82"H x 21"W x 22-34"D (*Adjustable in 1" increments*)
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Inexpensive, well built, don't assemble alone

Unbeatable value. I've got the full capacity of the equipment in it and it is solid. Shows no impact, doesn't scare me. The various parts fit together well, all the hardware is there and it's easy to expand and change to the configuration depth required. Although the blocks are labeled for each 1U, are they aren't numbered, which is a minor downside. For $20, you can put a 42U magnetic stripe and a label on it. This makes it a bit more difficult to align left and right if you don't have…

Pros
  • Fits standard 19" wide equipment. INSTALLATION Depth 22-34" (post to post)
Cons
  • Speed of operation

Inexpensive, well assembled, do not assemble alone

An unbeatable device for its price. I've got the full power of the equipment and it's solid. Show no influence, don't scare me. The different parts fit together well, all the hardware is there and it's easy to expand and change to the required configuration depth. Although the blocks are labeled for each 1U, they aren't numbered, which is a minor drawback. For $20 you can put a 42U magnetic stripe and label on it. This makes it a bit harder to align left and right if you don't have any devices.

  • Something different

executable result; Don't expect perfection or much help

This is the first rack I've ever seen that didn't have numbers for each U on the outside. But considering the price, it's amazing how flexible the width settings are - you can only use this with network equipment or true full-size rack servers. Although I write below, this solves this problem. While the rack is still empty I gather while preparing the wires and so on. Being an empty rack, it's not very strong - the rack comes looking almost "plumb" from the "plumb" position, and I'm hoping that

Pros
  • Racks & Cabinets
Cons
  • Available in black only
