Bought as a ski suspension solution

I was looking in our shell basement for an inexpensive ski suspension solution. It came up with a keyword search. They work great, the skis hang well (vertically). For only $10 I was able to hang all 4 sets. They screw easily into the 2x4's open frame - no tools required, just a little bit of lube. The Presto Magico and our skis were off the ground and didn't interfere.

Are positive reviews fake? is it garbage

I never write bad reviews. Mainly because I research Revain before I buy. Unfortunately I didn't in this case, hence this review. I made them hang up my scooter. I drilled a pilot hole, started screwing in the hook and the arrow broke. I look, and "hook" is a large head Phillips screw "welded" to a U-shaped piece of metal. There's no way a weld can withstand the torque required to get it in the way. It's garbage. GARBAGE. GARBAGE E. Stay away. Chinese garbage.

Pros
  • Garage storage
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

A few things to note: 1. They smell awful and your hands will smell after touching them.2. These hooks were not wide enough on arrival for an instrument larger than the violin/mandolin; however, it is relatively easy to bend the teeth wide enough. If you have trouble, you can use two crescent wrenches to…
