not happy Shock absorbers

These shock absorbers will not fit 2005 Nissan Frontier Nismo Offroad but will fit 2004 version! or at least the ones you sent me! But since I live in the Dominican Republic it's too expensive to send them back so I sold them here and ordered the ones I needed from another site.

Pros
  • Not cheap but worth it
Cons
  • I will add later

this STRUT is not a shock!

Amazon says this is a 2004 Nissa Xterra rear shock but IT IS NOT! Now my car is at the mechanic until I can find out what exactly is on Amazon. Amazon is good for the price, GREAT for the price, but if the part is wrong what's the point of making a deal? of $1200.00 (approximately 40 different auto parts) for two of my vehicles I ordered this week, more than 25% of the items do not fit due to Revain's patchy "searching" for Revain auto parts. very uncomfortable, very disappointed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Fairly good but...

Good value for a big brand

Good value for a big brand. People should know the difference between gas and water before ordering. Since these are hydraulic shock absorbers, they do not extend when unpacked. Know the difference and which one to look for for your vehicle. Everyday drivers who are not high-performance vehicles usually feel better with hydraulic shock absorbers. Gas shock absorbers are designed for fast rebound. However, you can usually pick up a Monroe or KYB at your local auto parts store for $30 each and…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Great balance of softness and firmness for the money!

Very good dampers for the price. I switched from rs9000 shocks to these on the front of my 2000 Nissan Frontier and have no complaints. The cushioning isn't too soft or too hard, but if you want customization options, you're paying double the price. Installed quickly and now my truck feels a lot better. I will say that I like the RS9000 better as I can make the suspension stiffer for highway and dirt road riding or softer for off-road riding. These dampers also do not stop body roll due to lack

Pros
  • pleasant
Cons
  • too boring
