OEM Perfect Replaced

I replaced the stock shocks on my 2000 Durango with these shocks. Restored the smoothness of my ride and tamed body roll in corners. Easy to install and look great.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

Not a smooth ride: shocks, struts and suspension

I installed a KYB gas-a-front only and a Rancho in the rear. The strokes are smooth on the front and rough and sharp on the back. So if you want a smooth ride, don't take it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Minor issues

You were good. We took it off the street in the dirt.

When we FINALLY got the right part, it turned out to be good. We rode off-road in the mud a few times and it was a good ride. If we hadn't gotten something different than what we ordered twice, it would have been much better.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • A price that would break a piggy bank

As I remember!

I bought them in 1984 for an SUV and they were great. So, thirty years later, when I needed new shock absorbers for my 2003 Dodge Dakota Fishing Truck, I said why not and bought them. Those punches were great in 1984 and thirty years later in 2014 they still come as a huge shock. They tackled the beach with no problem, and I'm not just talking about tightly packed sand, but soft, loose sand with deep ridges and hard, bumpy shells. If you need to hit the terrain and don't want to go broke, this…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Resets your journey to the time of the first purchase.

If you're looking for a luxurious, comfortable ride, look no further. But for the price of these shocks I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I installed them on my 2003 Durango and 2 hours later put them on and took them off for a test run. My Durango was used, 80,000 miles, still with stock shocks. I've had them for a week now and it looks like the truck just rolled off the assembly line. As I always say, you get what you pay for. If you want to restore your truck to its original luster without

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Neutral
