I can barely wait for it!

I bought Genevieve Miller's Vampire Knits a while ago and fell in love with every aspect of this book; All wonderful models and photos! Like the previous one, this once upon a time knitting book is beautifully composed. With that alone, I can just sit and stare at a book all day. ;) I haven't started any of the templates from this book yet, but from the previous book I can say that it was easy to follow the instructions of the projects I tried.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I will add later

when I read this book in taking my children's hand constantly got me making so many patterns that I went ahead and bought the book. I made a dragon toy out of a book and it was a nightmare. I've lost the number of errors in the pattern and am wondering if anyone has bothered to check this pattern for accuracy. Luckily I knew enough about knitting to figure out how to fix the mistakes and my son would get his kite for Christmas, but it was completely uninteresting.

Pros
  • got top marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • not as thick as other options
