I wanted to install Puck LED lights under my cabinets. The hole saw I had would have cut too big a hole. I measured the shim with a caliper and it was 60mm. When I saw this hole and saw the size I needed I bought it. I figured that bending the blade would make the hole a little bigger than the washer. I bought this to make a 3-1/2" hole in 4 pieces of good quality plywood for my router lift project. It worked, but I strongly recommend the following: clamp the workpiece and use a drill press if you can. I also had to drill each piece of the 3/4" layer separately and then line up the holes and glue all four pieces together.
