My fault for looking at the photo inattentively. If so, I would understand that this wouldn't work for my application. I bought it for the DAC. Not enough space for audio outputs. To place them you must remove and leave the top. It is definitely not compatible with all hats. Although this is a good case. Fits well and is easy to assemble.

This is a good case, not a great case. Once you've got it assembled and everything is assembled (which takes more effort and fiddling than you'd like), the plastic upper case slips on and off easily, but stays in place unless you want to move it around. The top is clear plastic so you can see the lights flashing, and the increased height compared to other cases makes it great for POE hats.

I was hoping this would be a good solution for some Pi with Falcon Pi Caps that I use for my Christmas light show. The lower part is ideal for Raspberry Pi 3b. All slots are properly aligned and hold the Pi securely. Unfortunately, to install it on a Pi with a Falcon Pi cap, I had to remove the transparent top and cut out most of the infrastructure on the black part. I'll probably look for another solution for a cleaner install using a Falcon Pi cover, but this will work as a temporary fix.

I bought this because my red and white Raspberry Pi case didn't quite fit the Sense Hat and wouldn't close. I dared and everything fits perfectly. If you have the same problem as me then you must get this. Whoever designed this case really knew what they were doing.

Well made and fits perfectly but the case seems to distract the temp gauge a bit. If it stays consistent I may be able to tweak this in code to show the correct reading. Not that I need high accuracy as +- 2 degrees is enough for my purpose.

Will not fit "Official Butt Hat" First assembly is good but the lid won't close. It was very frustrating and a huge waste of time. Let's just hope this review saves everyone more time and money than me.

This is a well made little Pi case with room for a hat shelf. Transparent cover is convenient for displays. However, the clear lid doesn't like to stay in place. It doesn't latch properly. So if you're worried, this could be the problem in this case.
