🧩 Ravensburger Eiffel Tower Puzzle - Perfecting Technology Review

Bought as a birthday present I was very disappointed when the box arrived in a bubble envelope. The corner of the puzzle box is crumpled making it look used or possibly recycled. Not enough time to reorder. However, the recipient is given the right to choose. I really hope all the details are there and intact.

Update: We put this together today and I was frustrated at first, it didn't have specific instructions but they aren't needed either, once you start using the instructions provided it's easy to continue. We really like it, it's much more than imagined. Below are a couple of pictures. My daughter saw this and was just WOW! she loves the Eiffel Tower, she dreams of visiting it one day!

This is my first time working with a 3D puzzle, but it was very easy to put together as all the pieces are numbered. So it was great that it was easy and all the pieces fit together nicely, but the layers stacked on top of each other didn't feel stable. Also, the Eiffel Tower puzzle looks cheap and ugly unless it's at night/dark. The lights make it cool, but it's not worth it without the lights. I think an unlit option would be the best option.

The puzzle was exactly what we wanted and deserves the five stars I gave it, but you may be interested in learning more about the building process. The model is more like a puzzle constructor. . I liked the fact that this tower has 3 levels and in the parts there are numbers and arrows indicating which side the next number should be on. Assembly became much quicker and my 5 year old son helped me find the next numbers :) It was a hard push for the man's hands at the top where the top of the tower tapers, so my wife did the top. Good puzzle except for a few things. 1. The parts are plastic and for each corner you need to bend the part at a 45 degree angle. The parts are quite small, and if I remember correctly, 48 corner edges. My fingers were bruised when I finished bending them! 2. Once you build the top section, it is extremely difficult to fix the shifted part. The section is small and long so you can't always reach it to stabilize and reset it properly. My first 3D puzzle and it was so much fun putting it together. The parts are very strong as you have to bend parts with creases. This is not a typical puzzle. Instead of figuring out which part goes together (which would be near impossible in my opinion), each part is numbered with an arrow showing where the next part goes.
