Parts don't fit and stay together.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this puzzle. The pieces don't fit together well and the base has to be constantly reassembled. Also, every time I attached a new piece, another one popped up somewhere else. I'm not sure what most 3D puzzles look like, but I think this one was inappropriate and not worth the $20 spent. I bought this for middle school kids and ended up having to make it myself as it was very frustrating with the pieces not holding together.

Ravensburger - Best Jigsaw Puzzles Ever

Wow, that's complicated. I don't know if it's the puzzle's fault but cornering is a challenge! I actually used glue in the base part because there are numerous twists and turns, but I try not to glue them in general. Me and my 6 year old grandson put together a few - his small hands are actually better at these puzzles than my rather large muscular ones! But a 6-year-old kid needs guidance and help along the way to solve these 3D puzzles. The 216 piece globe is a good start!

Very poor quality, the parts broke immediately!

I bought this for my son who loves 3D puzzles. He mainly builds with foam, so it was a bit different with him. Of the first ten parts, 3 broke and could not be repaired. Since these aren't foam constructions with big interlocking pieces, but more like a puzzle with small pieces, now that the three pieces are broken, he can't complete the construction and it's all junk. He and I are very disappointed as he was so looking forward to doing this. Parts break easily and then become irreparable…

Difficult but good: Logic

It is said to be good for 12-99 years. It is true. The Empire State Building is too difficult for my 9 year old boy to complete alone. But he and his friends worked together to make 1/3. The whole family then worked together to complete the entire puzzle. The total time was about 5 hours. The puzzle is made of plastic. This allows children to bend and repair without damaging the parts. Each piece is numbered with an arrow indicating the direction of movement. So it's even good for little kids…

Step-by-step model NOT Puzzle

I've never made 3D puzzles and I was hoping that it would be as fun and addicting as other Ravensburger puzzles and 3D foam puzzles, but it didn't happen. The pieces are incredibly difficult to put together, as an adult I struggled to bend the plastic pieces. It is definitely not suitable for a child or someone with anger management issues. It also includes instructions on how to assemble the tower - I bought the puzzle because I like figuring out how to put it together myself. All the pieces…

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • Almost never

Good toy but not a very good puzzle

I've searched a lot for an interesting 3D puzzle that is still a real puzzle, not a kit. I thought that was all (decent number of parts, complicated looking pattern) but I was wrong. Assembling this puzzle is not difficult except sorting the pieces by number. The puzzle can only be assembled in a specific order and all pieces are numbered according to that order. So all you have to do is look at the numbers, sort the pieces, and then put them back together according to the instructions. I think

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
