Shoes were damaged upon arrival. The hinges holding the locking mechanism have been loosened. It looked like the thread had come loose from the seam. I requested a refund but was never allowed to return it. BEWARE!

Liked how they fit and feel. I'm not a big fan of the sliding lace tie, but I'll adapt. My bare feet are 10 and 3/4 inches and a size 10 fits just right with or without a pair of very light socks. Should be the perfect shoe for river fishing.

it looked good and I really need a watch for hiking. I usually wear a size 9.5. but this shoe was a bit small, I had to order half a size bigger, also the sock was quite uncomfortable. In general, it doesn't fit my legs very well and I felt very uncomfortable.

We like our thick soled water boots because a lot of the places we kayak are rocky. Those tricks. They are also laced, which is also important so they don't come loose in the mud. They are true to size. I'd like more colors, but that's not critical. In general I am satisfied. Hopefully they hold up well over time.

I recently bought a second pair of these shoes although the first is still in excellent condition. I didn't want to risk them being hired and not having a pair when we can travel again. I have a very narrow foot and this is the best water friendly lightweight hiking shoe I have found for the price.

This is my second pair of Rax. My previous model was discontinued so I purchased the recommended replacement. They have material in the heel that is unstitched on the sides, creating a pocket for sand and small pebbles to accumulate. They can be very annoying until you wash them off. The designer didn't think that through.

Perfect for our vacation in Guancaste, Costa Rica last month. The shoes didn't cause blisters or ulcers, dried quickly and were very comfortable for all of our excursions including the rainforest and some volcano hikes. The mesh upper keeps feet cool. The shoes look great on both my (women's) feet and my husband's feet. Highly recommend for any water or hiking adventure. Sneakers are very easy to clean, no smell of smelly foot water.
