Good Tool - Automotive & Car Electronics

I installed this on a Hunter 36. The cable was long enough to reach the top of the mast with about 6 feet left. The instrument integrated with my other Raymarine instruments and worked very well from the moment I installed it. I had to remove the pole to install it, but I'm glad I did. It was a good opportunity to service the rig.

Power cord missing

The item arrived quickly and once installed it works as expected and exceeds my expectations. My only gripe is that the power cord was not included, which I had to order separately from West Marine for $19.95. It seems to me that the 875.64 should have included a power cord, or at least the product description should indicate it won't be included.

i60 wind angle needle is stuck

Works well, but in direct sun the wind angle needle is stuck and needs to be kept in the shade. The shading solves it. Works well in direct sunlight. Raymarine say they are working on a fix. Many complain. Perhaps this is a design flaw in the i60's display. I would wait until the problem is resolved before buying unless you only swim at night or out of direct sunlight. Raymarine later reported that some units were manufactured with a misplaced pin causing binding. They will repair or replace…
