This is a great replacement for our Denon receiver. It was so easy to set up. I literally took the batteries out of the old remote, put them in the new one and it worked! Our old remote worked except for the volume buttons. So it was great to be able to control the volume again. I really liked that no programming or setup was required.

The volume control on my remote control no longer works. This replacement controls volume, power, input source (Blu-ray, cable, disc player, etc.). It doesn't control the audio type (stereo, multi-channel, dolby, etc) which I prefer as the system automatically selects based on the preferred audio for that input.

I have avr3312ci. All the buttons on the top half didn't work, including the power button and all source buttons. The buttons in the lower half, which were required to access the menu items of the settings, worked. The volume buttons worked. You are in the bottom half. This is of course a fake. It's very light and the plastic is a little "runny".

I bought this to replace the RC1196 remote for my Denon AVR-S510BT because my hoarse idiot ate the original remote. This RC1168 worked straight out of the box using my original remote's batteries. Turns my receiver on/off, adjusts volume and changes input with no issues. Being able to change the volume again without getting up, this remote is 100% worth what I paid for it!

We bought one in February for our Denon receiver. We were so glad it came out of the box and was so cheap compared to a real Denon replacement. Less than 2 months later it just stopped working. We have tried everything. I thought it was just a defect or maybe I dropped it without realizing it. So we ordered another one in May. This remote worked for about two months until the power button stopped working. It was annoying, but at least I could turn off annoying ads from the comfort of my couch. Then, about a month later, everything stopped working. Now none of the buttons on the remote emit IR, even with a brand new set of batteries. It seems that in this case you get what you pay for. Don't be like me; Spend the extra few dollars to get a higher quality product so you don't end up having to buy two.
