Hunka Junk in Office Electronics

We have at least 10 outlets in our modern home and this thing doesn't work in any of them! No wonder this scrap is non-refundable! What a waste of $$$!

Pros
  • GOLS Certification
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Non refundable!

I received this phone and when I plugged it in the numbers 1, 2 and 3 don't work at all! I wanted to return it but I see it's non-refundable! Beware. Not cool.

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Decent for the money

These old school corded phones are getting harder and harder to find. I wanted one for my desktop at home. At first the sound quality was terrible. But lately things are going well. I like the ability to change the ringer volume. Overall I'd say they don't make them like they used to, but this is a decent phone for the money.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not sure

Very good product: Landline

I am very satisfied. When I first got the phone I thought it was defective because there was only one cord. I asked for a replacement and saw it was the same hardware. Then someone showed me that this phone works like this - the cord goes into one piece and then into the socket. The sound quality is good and I am very happy with this product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

not working on landline

I only bought this device to be able to call my utility company during a power outage (the automated system does not properly track my mobile phone to where I live to install if an error occurs ). It was cheap enough to buy without a reservation. Well I've tried plugging it into every phone jack in my house. No signal. I even tried calling my landline from my cellphone hoping it might wake the device up. Do not go. Other buyers had the same problem. I hoped I wouldn't be one of them.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Simple, functional and very good for its price!

Perfect for VoIP and works great with my hearing aids. Simple but functional as I had hoped. The phone comes with a cord that you simply plug into where the phone jack is. Very easy, it took 2 minutes max. It has 3 volume levels and has a clear, crisp sound. The ringtone can be configured in 3 modes: loud ringtone, soft ringtone or silent. The bell can be heard throughout the living room. The keyboard with comfortable giant keys is perfect for shaky hands.

  • Cool

Excellent sound quality and ergonomics for using

. I've tried many landlines and I have to say this simple phone is perfect. Great sound and ergonomics too, well made: sits nicely "on the head" if like me you want to be hands-free for multitasking; And it comes with a nice long cord. I like that the end button and dialer are on the headset so you can make multiple calls without being close to the handset. The ring is not bad. The voice on the other end of the line is loud and clear even at low volume. My kids are learning to use it - it's a…

Lots of little problems

I bought this phone for my elderly parents but after they received it they didn't realize that the cable combines a twisted pair carrying cable and a phone jack cable. So a cable has two different ends, which means that if something cuts or damages it, you end up having to replace the phone and wait for delivery, or somehow try to find an affordable replacement cable locally. The description does not indicate this when purchasing. The phone has nothing to do with the base other than just…
