💧 Efficient Water Heater Control System for Smart Homes Review

I received this system and could not get any of them to work as described by the manufacturer. Spoke to support and they couldn't even get the system to work. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Very disappointed that I plugged it in and couldn't connect to the internet. I called the service number listed in the manual and got cut off twice and the third time the record said they were in a training meeting so it came back in the box.

I wanted a pluggable water detector and switch off if possible. I'm not interested in being notified by smartphone. This thing with all these features costs $25. About an hour later I installed the shutdown and control module. That works great. I didn't put the post on either side of the handle, only on the shut down side. I want to be able to move the handle back and forth like before. I can open the valve again when I know everything is ok.

The device is quite easy to install. The device turns off the water when it is detected. The device connects to WiFi (albeit a bit painful). The device won't send you an alert to your phone if it detects water, which was a key selling feature. I called support, they didn't do anything. If you claim it works over Wi-Fi to send you a notification, it needs to send a notification. Withdraw $50 and claim no WiFi. Then you have 5 stars. At the moment I am giving you an average rating of 3 stars.
