A week later so far so good. But these shorts feel "cheap" - and I wonder how long they will last. Material is very thin, zippers and clasps appear sketchy. The pockets are not as deep as I would like. I'll give them a year and see how they hold up.

Although the shorts look hairy, they are very comfortable, lightweight and dry quickly. Ideal for hiking or any other activity (like kayaking, white water rafting) where you may get wet. I can recommend it and would like to buy it in other colors.

My husband wore them twice and once, washing them in between, I hung them out to dry. Just got back from a hike where he wore them one day and after the second wash the button came off in the wash. They are cheap and not built to last or wear out; Buyer beware.

Overall these look like decent adventure style shorts but the waist is terrible. I usually wear a 36, sometimes a 34. I ordered these in a 34. But the elastic at the waist is too weak, if you put something in your pocket, the shorts just fall on your hips. In fact, they slip easily into pockets without anything. And they're not too big, not baggy on me at all. I think 32 is too small.

I'm 6'0", 200 lbs, 34" waist. They fit the legs perfectly, but the waistband is too stretched - so much so that I feel like a belt is needed. The problem is that a leather belt would look silly and I don't have a nylon belt/tape type. I would have to buy it just for these shorts. I'd rather have a drawstring or some other way of streamlining the fall than having to buy a belt just for these shorts, but the seller was very helpful so I gave them a good rating anyway.

I originally ordered khaki. I apparently got bleach stains without even wearing it. I didn't put it next to linen, chemicals or anything else that might bleach it, but stains have formed in a few places as you can see in the photo. I thought it might be something to wash up, but no. How can something waterproof be bleached like that without bleach?! **Update: The company contacted me immediately and received my information to ship a new pair of shorts (I chose black this time).
