I can't buy those big rolls of dental floss at local stores. They usually only sell small ones that don't last as long. For a good price I got six rolls that big that will last me at least a year and a half and that's the Reach brand. While I'm generally happy with this purchase, I wish the manufacturer would only sell dispenserless rolls that can be reused. This would help reduce the amount of plastic in our waste stream, especially when sold in boxes. .

Most of my patients use Glide floss. While any floss is better than no floss, the plastic/Teflon/PTFE/sliding material easily glides over a lot of plaque.
