This item is practically useless if you try.

This item is practically useless if the thing you want to pump somewhere isn't liquid. If it's thick, then it's bullshit. A thicker product will not have enough room to flow and will explode where it connects to the pipe. Poorly. I think the thickest thing you can do is get the consistency of a well-blended, non-lumpy guacamole. Otherwise save your money.

Pros
  • Easy to remove and reuse
Cons
  • Easily crumpled

Will not fit all caulk and glue tubes as stated

Product packaging clearly states "Applies to all caulk and glue tubes". Unfortunately this is not the case as the internal threads of the flextension tube do not have anything to catch on the sealant tube. Squeezing the flextension firmly against the tip of the caulking hose didn't work either, leading to a mess. The only way to use them was to cut the tip of the caulk to the inside diameter of the flextension and then glue the flextension to the end of the caulk. Well it's a joke!

Pros
  • Airtight seal
Cons
  • No Car

Will not adhere to GE or DAP silicone sealants as instructed.

Threaded end will not attach to GE or DAP silicone fittings regardless of pressure or torque. Some functionality was managed by removing (simply pulling out) the threaded sleeve, slipping the large end of the hose over the cut spout of the sealant hose, and generally using a small hose clamp. See photo. This is extra work for something advertised to make caulking hard-to-reach places easier. Can be useful if there is no other way to get to the sealant line, but useless otherwise.

Pros
  • Bend up to 180 degrees
Cons
