Excellent screws. Take 2 1/2 inches though.

I am using screws with a Trex Select seat. These are very good screws. Looking back I think 2 1/2 inches would be nice. The screws worked very well with the bezel.

Nice big box of almost headless screws

These things screw on tight. The head of the screw is just enough to keep you from drilling too deep, but not enough to split the wood. The thread pulls the boards nice and tight. The only downside is that the bit that comes with the kit wears out after about 100 screws. This is a standard size so make sure you have a few in stock.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fancy shopping?

I had a 5 pound box of Deckmate screws that screwed in quickly and easily without having to drill holes for the porch deck. However, we ran out of screws and they removed the paint we wanted. They looked almost the same and we ordered 2 boxes. These screws are hot junk. The head melts with every squeeze and shears off the tip, which I used to attach a whole box of Deckmate with about 4 screws. He messed up 5 TIPS and was only able to install about 40 (and not even fully). I had to throw away…
