They were about 1/4 inch longer. Difficult to install them. I installed 100 of these and they were the worst. They work, but I wouldn't order them again.

It works although I had some trouble getting the 2nd piston screw in but the wireless ratchet worked. I had no problems with that. I would buy this again.

Remove 1 post. There is a right and a left post. They are NOT marked so line them up with the one you took off. Watch YOU Tube for more removal and installation tips and tricks

Perfect for my large 2003 Dodge Caravan. I highly recommend installing them on a cool day! If it's too hot, they'll be too tight, making installation difficult. They are also insanely strong, don't let your kids/elderly get in the gate, it might push them back. I'm glad the tailgate doesn't close anymore

installation was incredibly easy. Be careful because this door is HEAVY without hydraulics. I used a fence post with a cap to hold the door up while I did the work. Very intuitive project, anyone can do it. All you need is the right tools and there you go! On my car, to remove the old one, I had to remove a small clip, remove the old jack bracket, and then unscrew where it was attached. The new ones are much simpler, clipless, just screw in and go. Worked great for my city and country in 2007.
