Not suitable: car accessories

Inexpensive! The screws won't tighten and it doesn't fit my mirror bar! My phone twitches and dangles and blocks my view! Good idea but very poorly done! Don't waste your time! You get what you pay for!

You get what you pay for

Very cheaply made. My phone, a standard Samsung, is too heavy and slips out and my arm is not strong enough to keep it from swinging due to the weight of the phone. A magnet would be a much better idea than spread arms which are very tight.

But the hinge has no teeth to lock it. When it gets hot, he slips out of his seat. The phone clip is pretty good. I had no problems with that.

Simple and archaic but works

Order arrived on time. This only works on vehicles with a typical rear view mirror attached to the windshield with a metal bar in between. The holder is attached to this part. On some more modern cars, a lot happens in the rearview mirror area, like my 2015 Mercedes. It does exactly what the manufacturer promises. It can block your view a bit, and the biggest phone that will fit is the iPhone 7 Plus (or similar). I would recommend it to those who travel a lot and/or don't have much dashboard…

Need longer screws

The rear-view mirror in my car has a very thick shaft. The hardware store had screws with the right threads, so we were able to install them. My rather heavy phone slides into the grips with little effort and stays where it belongs. Unfortunately, the buttons also completely cover my volume buttons. I need to make sure it's turned up loud enough so I can hear Google's instructions.
