The perfect problem solver

I live in an area far from the FM radio stations that I like and the only way I have been able to pick up was to hold onto the thin wire and try to tune it out like this to position that he would hold play, a huge pain because I had to go through that every time I wanted to listen to music through my Onkyo Integra receiver. I also live in an area where I had to place my antenna in the attic and most antennas have to point to the stations so I spent hours trying to find the right one, thisโ€ฆ

Misconfigured, Frustrated

I checked the antenna's SWR performance with a calibrated Agilent VNA and found that I had an uneven response across the entire FM band. It looks like the antenna is a bit too long and tuned to a lower frequency (around 82MHz). 88MHz performance was adequate, but performance fell off quickly as frequency increased, making it poor for any frequency above 90MHz. and I know a thing or two about the antenna. Update: By shortening two rods by 8cm each I was able to get the correct SWR for the entire

Ideal problem solver
