So glad I found them. There couldn't be a better light set for a Stranger Things-inspired project. They are the perfect size and the fact that they are battery operated is very convenient. You don't have to worry about hiding cables. I also like that it has different settings including a timer. All in all they are just perfect!

Not bad. A little pricey for what they are, I spent $18.99. They are bright, but the batteries run out quickly. Received and installed on December 6th. In less than 2 weeks they needed new batteries. During the holiday season, expect to have to replace the batteries at least once. The timer function works great and there are many different lighting modes, blinking, always on and the like.

So according to the description you get batteries. This is the key. I got high capacity batteries from amazonbasics and they lasted about three to four days with the timer function. I liked that you can set and forget. When I used normal batteries. that would be too expensive! I also liked the colors and settings. It was perfect for my mailbox as I didn't want the cord running through the lawn.

Christmas lights work great with or without a timer. The timer stays on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours and there are 8 different lighting combinations. It uses 3 AA batteries and looks like I only need to change batteries once during the Christmas season. I live in Florida so it's not very cold at night, no doubt a colder climate will drain batteries faster. I recommend and may buy another set next year.

I was happy to see the size of the lights and the number of lights on the garland was impressive too. We put in batteries and now we have lights in each of my children's rooms. They wanted to enjoy Christmas lights in their rooms, but they didn't have outlets where to put them. The best set of th7s is a long way off and if anything changes I'll be sure to let you know. The timer and flash type selection is a hit. If you are looking for battery powered flashlights this is a good buy.

We didn't have high hopes for them as they were very cheap. You know, sometimes you're pleasantly surprised. They've been wrapped around the deck rail since the day we got them and we're still using the same set of batteries. The timer function works well, the battery compartment stayed sealed (and we got killed by the rain and a few inches of snow fell. Can't say anything bad about them and we'll probably order a few more because we fancied the big lights looked really good.
