Works great, but get those rechargeable batteries!
So according to the description you get batteries. This is the key. I got high capacity batteries from amazonbasics and they lasted about three to four days with the timer function. I liked that you can set and forget. When I used normal batteries. that would be too expensive! I also liked the colors and settings. It was perfect for my mailbox as I didn't want the cord running through the lawn.
