Basically, this product is easy to install, but it has some disadvantages. They say don't tighten the nut under the cap with the players, only hand tighten or you'll break the inner nut. Even with 2 turns with a wrench, the cap hangs under the ceiling and doesn't fit snugly to ensure a snug fit. The picture shows how bad it looks.

They really offer a lot of flexibility when decorating a room. We used these to change the lighting in our dining room and they go great with the oiled bronze ceiling fan already installed. Easy to install but don't expect the top to be flush with the ceiling. It will wash out a little but it looks okay. In the picture shown we have not added a globe yet (made to order).

Well packaged. Inside were simple instructions. In 15 minutes we removed our niche lighting and hung both bronze-brown cords with our lampshades and bulbs. No problem to coil the cable to the desired length and connect it to both lights. Cords straightened in less than 5 minutes! Includes an additional white ring to hold the bulb in the lampshade. Needed an adapter block for a recessed lamp above the sink when renovating the kitchen. This works well but read the instructions fully as the spring loaded wire holder feature is a bit hidden in the test.
