The cap is attached to the battery by a flimsy thin bungee chord that may not stay attached very long because of the wear-and-tear on the chord every time the battery is charged. I purchased these back in August 2020 and some of them are already failing. We only use them once a week during church services and otherwise they stay in a charger than is a smart charger and keeps them alive longer. The reason for keeping them on the charger is that they will slowly drain and become unusable. The technology is something I want to back, but I won't be purchasing more of these for a long while.

The 4 pack is awesome, for testing purposes though, I have only been using the same 2 batteries in my mini maglite for almost 2 years (the other 2 are used randomly in the house) and have charged them over 50 times. I use these for some small flashlights and they're pretty useful. Though I wish the life of the batteries was better, these are pretty good for EDC lights that don't need to last that long.I noticed in one of my lights the batteries don't seem to make the light dim until they are depleted, the light just turned off.All in all, for use with EDC items these are adequate.
